May 13, 201510 yr comment_60273 Great! Mine was a toss up between #46, 42, 28 and 10. Still all true after all these years......
May 15, 201510 yr comment_60297 Thank you Mari. Regarding #47, it is first on my list of blood bank skills that will be useless in my retirement (coming within the year I might add): being able to reach into a sleeve of 12 x 75 tubes and grabbing exactly 12 more times than not (and also knowing you've got one too many or too few). May 18, 201510 yr comment_60336 I think Parafilm should be available for home use.Hmmm, there is a mechanism, the same one by which a 4-channel lab timer might end up in your kitchen.....
May 18, 201510 yr comment_60340 Dr. Pepper, I cracked myself up the first time I dialed a phone number with my computer keyboard.

May 18, 201510 yr comment_60346 Yup, done that too! I also say "negative" to answer questions sometimes then say "no pun intended". No one gets that except other Blood Bankers
May 19, 201510 yr comment_60357 One very busy day in the Blood Bank, OR called and i answered "Transfusion Reaction, May I help You?" They laughed....said, "well, it might be; but I hope not." Brenda Hutson
