Cliff
I've switched sides from mostly transfusion to 100% donor services. When I was on the transfusion side, we only provided Adsol units to our babies, which included a 50+ bed NICU unit. Do you still provide CPDA-1 units for those that transfuse babies, or have you switched to Adsol? If you're comfortable, please let me know what facility you are with and how large your NICU is. applejw
WE provide Adsol units, predominantly and our NICU is over 70 beds. Prisma Health Greenville Memorial Hospital John C. Staley, SbbPerson and Cliff
Mabel Adams
We use Adsol units for small volume transfusions. We remove the plasma/additive for exchange transfusions and replace it with AB plasma. St Charles in Bend OR. Our NICU is the highest level (3, backward from trauma designations) but not that big. We have a 24 bed capacity. Edited August 3, 2023 by Mabel Adams Cliff
Bet'naSBB
We use AS-3. our supplier upped the price of CPDA-1 units because they have "stopped" production of that product..... we have a pretty large NICU +/- 50 beds and are a pediatric trauma center.
