Hi 

I am planning to do Higher specialist diploma run by IBMS ( UK members ) Is anyone doing or has already done  this course ? I would be much appreciated if someone can give tips and guidance on this course.

Being the Chief Examiner for the IBMS HSD in Transfusion Science, I can't really help you there, otherwise it would seem unfair.  However, if you ask direct questions, I may be able to answer those, although I can't even guarantee that.

OMG!!   I really  have to be careful with my terminology now. I am bit worried now since you are the chief examiner . 

There used to forum on IBMS website where we can share the experience but I think it is going to be discontinued. Is there anyway can I keep in touch with the  HSD students ?

I think your best bet is to email Chris Ward at the IBMS on chrisward@ibms,org.  Note, there is no full stop between "chris" and "ward".

Hi gagpinks , i successfully passed the HSD in transfusion in 2010, so if i can be of any help feel free to get in touch!

Currently waiting on my exams results from the HSD in laboratory leadership and management which are released on Friday --eekkk!

Just wondering,  can I use this                    ( discussion forum ) as an example to write my reflective statement where I communicate finding to specialist and other professional group

A little bit late into the forum, but I am currently completing the HSD in transfusion and also in the process of trying to find others that have or are completing this course to keep in touch, as I am the first within my department to complete this!
