Has anyone else done the same and if so, how are you billing for it if at all? The closest CPT code that I have seen is 86906 (Blood typing Rh phenotype.) Is anyone using that code? David Saikin Posted January 18, 2012 Share Posted January 18, 2012 If I was going to do that I would probably use the code for antiglobulin ag testing rather than Rh Phenotype (which could possibly be construed as fraud since Rh phenotype really has a different meaning than Weak D testing).
