Lindz82
Hello All! I currently work at an IRL to be in the midwest. We have a current ABO discrepancy SOP, but to be quite honest it needs some work. I was hoping I could locate a couple of GREAT SOPs, and I know you guys have them, so I can start reworking our unorganized, confusing mess.... Thanks! Dr. Pepper
I too just revised my procedure, attached, mostly copped from the Tech Manual. Don't forget your associated procedures (cold and prewarmed backtypes, saline replacement for rouleaux, adsorption/elution for weak A&B ags, ID of anti-A1, test for secretor status, etc.).Resolving ABO Grouping and Rh Typing Discrepancies.doc Liz

jcdayaz
On a different note.... I had the distinct pleasure of attending another teleconference this morning. The topic was passively transfused antibodies--ie. incompatible plasma in products transfused to recipients. Red cells, platelet pheresis and plasma were all discussed. Question: Does anyone have references on an Anti-T???Thanks in advance.
