ABIDer Posted November 17, 2010 Share Posted November 17, 2010 How is everyone handling CAP standard TRM.31450 "Comparability of Instrument/Method"? Are you comparing tube, gel, and automation? Does anyone have a written procedure for doing this that they might like to share? I'm trying to decide the best way to do it and am looking for ideas. David Saikin Posted November 17, 2010 Share Posted November 17, 2010 All my methods are manual (tube/gel). I pick one CAP specimen and compare ABORh and ABID - so I do this 3x/year. Somewhere on a previous thread someone had brought this up and I believe there are myriad answers and CAPs input (from someone) that you should do so many comparisons. Suzanne Butch has a nice diatribe against this standard - also somewhere on this website. I use my process validation form and attach my worksheets.
