Gerald Posted March 27, 2007 Share Posted March 27, 2007 Hello, I'm the blood bank lead tech of a 180 bed rural hospital in south central Iliinois. We are located quite literally in the middle of a cornfield between 2 towns. We have been doing gel testing for the last several years. I'm currently completing the training of our techs on the Provue which has been live since the beginning of the year. We are suppplied by a community blood center that is located about 40 miles from us and tranfuse around 2,000 units a year. I have never posted before so this is all new to me.
