kaleigh Posted February 20, 2020 Posted February 20, 2020 Hello! Does anyone have a trick for creating a "fake" rouleaux specimen for students' learning purposes? Thanks in advance!
Dr. Pepper Posted March 8, 2021 Posted March 8, 2021 Kaleigh, whenever we encountered a specimen showing nice rouleaux I would gather all the old lab specs on the patient, pool them and freeze aliquots to torment future generations of students. You could also have your buddies in Hematology be on the lookout for them as well. Malcolm Needs, kaleigh and AMcCord 3
noelrbrown Posted March 15, 2021 Posted March 15, 2021 Add some Dextran to a plasma sample, it should do the trick and will save you a lot of time and effort freezing and retaining samples etc. AMcCord and kaleigh 2
