  1. Larry, We created custom crossmatch, assignment and I/T cards. The crossmatch cards print on 2x4 label stock and are stuck to cards stock and attached to the unit. The I/T card prints to an Okidata printer. The report is a 2 part with the back copy being returned to the BBK for entering of transfusion data. David xm.doc
  2. Do you have your clients set up to enter barcodes?BC.doc
  3. What is the theory behind this and is there documentaion?
  4. We just have the Result Code "0/NEG" for the check cells set for Hi/Lo: L and the Cnfm: Y and the Rpt: Y. For the Meditech ABS type test you can have only "P" or "N" set as abs interp in the calculations, not "I" for invalid, therefore a calculation couldn't be built. At least it's beyond my skills.
  5. How about Saline Indirect Antiglobulin Test........LIDAT (LISS).....PIDAT (PEG)
  6. Define the barcode fields as upper and lower case. Input pattern type CHAR with value "a" for lower case and value "A" for upper case.
  7. We are Meditech C/S and have a Blood Type Newborn group and a Blood Type Cord group. The Newborn is used to test heelpoke samples and the Cord is only for cord blood samples. Currently the Blood Type Cord is updating the BBK History. I feel this needs to be changed. I believe the cord blood specimen is not ideal for creating a blood type in a patient's history which then could be used as a historical blood type for Type & Screens/Crossmatches. Please comment.
  8. Here's the format. Yes it is unfortunate that you cannot print from the process screen.TMAG.txt
  9. We are Meditech C/S and have worksheets for antigen typing which include the Pos and Neg controls. First we order an antigen "group" test on each unit. The "group" includes the "T" tests for reaction, check cell and result. We create the worksheet that calls all antigen testing on to it. We record the reactions in the computor and verify the worksheet which edits the units accordingly. Custom labels are then printed that include the unit#, unit ABORH, date, and the antigen-POS/NEG.
