Malcolm Needs ☆
Sorry newBB, but could you be a bit more precise? What calculations are you talking about; TI?, CT ratios? population staistics? There are a miriad of calculations in blood transfusion (ALL of which I am useless at), but it may help someone else to answer your post if you could tell us exactly what calculations you wish to study. David Saikin
You can use the AABB Technical Manual, The Denise Harmening Book - Modern Blood Banking and Transfusion Medicine: these should provide a good starting point for SBB study. There are other sources which also would be helpful in preparing for the exam.

David Saikin
Any clinical chemistry book should suffice - though I don't think you will get into those molarity questions on the SBB. Probability - YES and the texts I recommended will show how that can be calculated.
angelareflab
There's a great website that helps you calculate population genetics and navigate the hardy weinburg equation. I used it when i was preparing for my SBB. The address ishttp://nhscience.lonestar.edu/biol/hwe.htmlhope this helps, as I had several hardy weinburg questions on my exam in June!
