  1. We have manual gel(with SA reader) and ProVue. All our results get exported to LIS from SA reader or ProVue(except crossmatches and PAnel). We ask the techs to make print out for panels and crossmatches and they enter result from there to LIS. We have a manual or downtime worksheet for CORD, DAT or any tube method testing as we do not run those on gel. All other records are in the LIS and we have FHR on the back up PC incaseof LIS downtime to look up patient history. We do not have card system at all.
  2. we give 5 day expiration to thawed FFP but do not use plasma frozen in 24 hrs. If we use them we are going give only 24 hr expiration. (std 5.1.8A (30)).
  3. I would appreciate if you can share with me. If you do not want to post here my e-mail is: (removed by admin - please contact this person through their profile) Thank you
  4. Is anyone out there doing computer crossmatch with cerner clasic???????
  5. we use W.A.R.M. (commercially available). We need to wash the cells 3X after the incubation with W.A.R.M. solution. We do run into a problem where package insert require us to run adsorbed plasma against pt's own WARM treated cells and against either screening cells ar panel cells. As per insert adsoption is complete if we have negative results with both. (or in presence of allo, only allo is present). Many times we see reactivity with pt's WARM treated cells but no reactivity with pt's screening cells. IF anybody is using WARM and have any idea please post. Thank you
  6. 100% irradiation ....K+ goes up after irradiation..usually 3 days after irradiation...how do you deal with this issue...and also inventory management. You have all your Red cells with only 28 days on it???
