I have heard complaints from some that they are not accurate enough, but they perform well for us. There really is no accurate way to test the temperature of the core of the bag without entering the unit, so any method out there is just accurate to test the outside of the bag, and (I hope) gives us an accurate enough estimate of whether we can accept the unit back.
