Architect i1000

Recommended Posts

We are just about to start using this new analyzer and I wonder if anyone has any observations on how it fairs on a day-to-day basis. So far (after training by the Abbott rep) we do not anticipate too many problems. Any users out there?

Thanks, Scott

We have Ci4100 and love it! For low volume i1000 tests, it is nice to load reagent while running. Very little down time; sample volume in the 150ul area for most tests. Only issue is when you have more than 25 individual tests running at once--it really slows down at that point. Error messages are not alway the easiest to interpret without using onboard reference manual. Any specific questions, send me private message.

Scott, you need a back up (2 Architect i1000 s). Other than that it is near to perfect. Rarely breaks down ever. But if and when, its a long time to repair. The hard drive went kaput and OMG. the day to day work is great. Very senstive and you should get a % of false pos. We have 2 Architect i2000 s!! very pleased. send your own engineers to train they are the first liners.
