Cernal Classic and Extended Crossmatches

We're looking to implement extended crossmatches for our surgical patients. We currently are using Cerner Classic and are having trouble finding a way to extend the crossmatch past the 72 hours without flagging an error in the system.

Does anyone currently do this or have any suggestions?

We justed added a reason called "not expired" to use when dispensing.

For very same reason we do not go beyond 72 hrs.
