rescyth Posted March 16, 2009 Share Posted March 16, 2009 Hi guys!What's the commonly encountered problems you got in your institution in terms of equipment issues , software or etc... and how do you think you could solve it?-in our hospital was upgrading the patient records from paper to computer...still no improvement as everyone is too lazy to transfer the infos ! L106 Posted October 22, 2009 Share Posted October 22, 2009 Our most common problem: Some techs just never seem to be able to find a little extra time to knock off an equipment chore (ie: monthly cell washer maintenance). (Yet some other techs seem to be able to tackle all on the quarterly equipment chores on one Sunday that isn't too busy!)For the problem you mentioned, sometimes you just have to actually assign the chore to specific individuals. lacs Posted July 14, 2011 Share Posted July 14, 2011 We used to assign tasks equally to every one, including reviews since we have soooo many. Now we have someone to take care of the reviews and QC investigations, validations. Maintenance is still split up and we have a deadline for each.
