Liz
I use the Abbott Axsym at the Blood Bank, we plan to move to the Architect. On the Axsym we have a lot of false positives with HCV antibodies.Does anyone use the Architect 2000?How is the sensitivity and specificity on the Architect 2000, are you getting too many false-positives with HCV screening?ThanksLiz

Liz
We have the expected # of low posiive HIV and HBsAg, they do turn out to be false positive on confirmatory testing. No carry-over.However it does not test for HTLV, it is a requirement.Hope this helpsLiz
