    Our facility uses a 24 hour outdate. I don't know how they decided on this though.

    Can someone please explain or give references to how platelet expiration can be changed to 7 days? Is is additonal bacterial testing or a different bag used, etc?

    We are looking to update our freezers and we are looking at some made by RTF Manufacturing. Has anyone had any experience with freezers from this company?
