Back in the last century we had a Coulter DACOS that seemed to break down every other specimen.  It was very sensitive to temp and humidity changes.  Probably due to it's age (like me).

Mine was Dimension RXL. Used to break down 2-3 times a week. The cuvette drum was a worry. And manual probe calibration was bit of a nightmare.
