Does anyone one use Advia 2120 can tell me if  [1] Manual open tube sampler, [2] manual closed tube sampler and [3] automated closed tube sampler (Autosampler) are using the same path after aspiration?? Do we have to do blood comparison (correlation) for different modes?

Thanks so so much!!!

We haven't had the 2120 for 5 years but yes, unless something has changed with that analyzer, all three modes have separate pathways thus the comparison between modes is a requirement.  We also had to run controls on all three modes as well.  That analyzer was a bear.  I hope you have better luck out of yours than we did... very needy..!!

Thanks so much for your reply!! I can imagine it would be a nightmare for evaluation and daily routine.... Maybe Advia is not a choice! :(

The Beckman-Coulter Dx series has all three modes running through the same pathway.  We run one level of QC once every 8 hours.

Our 2120i was taken away today, absolute nightmare :)  We replaced it with an XN 550 which is a joy to use.
