BB Bryan Posted October 3, 2012 Share Posted October 3, 2012 The Helmer rep was completely clueless as to recommended RPMs for serologic testing (ABORH, etc.).I've tried using an online g-force calculator and came up with ~3012 RPM (based on head radius and what seems to have been the g-force of the Dade Immufuge II (39.8 N, based on 90mm and 3175 RPM). 3010 RPM seems a little low to me. I've read other folks being set up at 3300. Does anyone know the proper RPM setting for sero testing using the SO head?Muchas Gracias! Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
KKidd Posted October 3, 2012 Share Posted October 3, 2012 We don't have the SO head, but our EBA-21 are calibrated at 3500 RPM. You still need to perform a calibration to obtain the optimal centrifugation time. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
