webersl Posted May 2, 2012 Share Posted May 2, 2012 Can I get a make/model number on a small blood bank quality fridge on wheels that can be unplugged from blood bank, transported to OR, plugged back in during surgery, then returned to BB after surgery? We have wireless remote temp monitoring, so it doesn't need alarms or chart recorder. It just needs to be able to continuously hold 1-6C. Anyone using something like this? Is it working for you? webersl Posted June 1, 2012 Author Share Posted June 1, 2012 We have decided to purchase a Helmer undercounter fridge for this purpose. It is not "small". It is like a regular sized fridge, bu only 1/2 as tall. It weighs 200 lbs. We'll see how it goes. If it goes well, we will get more of them.
