ncehall
How long should a donor be deferred after receiving HPV vaccine? Since it's recombinant, is deferral necessary? Thanks!
Cliff
Our policy for anti-virals (we don't address HPV specifically) is to accept the donor three days after the completion of therapy, or if it taken for prophylaxis we take them immediately if the donor is asymptomatic. Here are documents from the Armed Services Program. http://www.bloodbanktalk.com/forum/downloads.php?do=file&id=8 http://www.bloodbanktalk.com/forum/downloads.php?do=file&id=
