adiescast
I am redesigning my label control process and am looking for some good ideas. Does anyone have a label control process or master list of labels they would be willing to share?(Just FYI, I posted this on AABB forums as well)
Colleen A
We have a process where we order and then perform QC on Labels received that includes looking at the printing, size of the label, color and bar code readable. Most of what we QC are component product code labels but we try and cover everying including tie tags. Once we have acceptable QC we create what we call a "Reference page." This is reviewed by the department and quality. Then we keep it in a book. There are 3 copies for each label. One goes in a book in the laboratory for tech reference. The second one is upstairs for reference when writing SOPs, etc and the third goes with the QC/ordering information. I have tried to create an index from this but it is not in an SOP. Hope this is helpful.
