Jeanette Posted January 17, 2004 Share Posted January 17, 2004 As a change for january, we offered free massages for donors for 3 days in addition to our shirts. the difference that made in the response was wonderful. i guess donors need massages after the stresses of the holidays.any other ideas? Cliff Posted January 17, 2004 Share Posted January 17, 2004 That sounds like a great idea.We have two centers, one relatively small WB center and one fairly active plateletpheresis center. The platelet donors are very dedicated and it's hard to get them to not donate. The WB people are a bit tougher. I think food has worked well. Dawn Posted January 17, 2004 Share Posted January 17, 2004 One thing that brought herds of donors to our center was homemade pies. Employees in the donor center made them.
