At the October AABB meeting, It was anounced that the CMS Billing code for the electronic crossmatch had been approved. You can check on the AABB web site for actual codes.

I am not a billing expert but, I attended the AABB Annual Meeting in October where they announced that the electronic crossmatch had been given a CPT code and was now approved. The code they announced was 86923. You may want to verify this, but it's a start.
