    It is now February, has the AABB put out any statements regarding this new billing issue? We could use some definitive answers from them. Thanks !

    What about when the patient has multiple antibodies, and the physician has ordered 2 units of blood STAT. When you call to tell him that you can't find 2 units quickly due to the antibody problem, he tells you - "Well, then get 4 units !!". LOL.

    I agree with Deny - this site is amazing thanks to its members. Always a quick response, and very informative answers. Kuddos to all of you for "being there" for other blood bankers. We have to stick together, as who else will be there for us?
