I've just completed building the dictionaries in Meditech 5.64 for our Provue interface and am testing using Meditech's validation guide. Meditech says we need a more specific validation. Anyone willing to share their validation plan? Thanks!

How did you set the TS-EXM specimen expiration to expire in 3 days @ 2359? Is that a separate rule? -
For those who use an automated continuous temperature monitoring, will you please let me know what your process is for recording the functionality of the system? Do you record the temperatures taken by the system daily? Do you also record daily temperatures from a separate internal thermometer or the equipment display temperature? Thanks in advance, Cmeonette

Will someone please describe me your process with the Meditech-Provue interface? This is our scenario using Meditech C/S 5.64 1. Receive sample in the Lab 2. Add the specimen in Meditech BBK Analyzer queue to download to Provue 3. Place and identify sample in Provue 4. Click on Host to download the tests from Meditech 5. Run test 6. Once results are available, send tests to upload to Meditech. I have problems with the process and I'm wondering if there's any other way to do this. Thanks for the help!
