  1. What are the cords collected or placed in to be able to test them? We currently receive our cords clotted in large sample container with no anticoagulant.
  2. We just went live with our Echo this week. I am curious if anyone performs DAT's on their Echo. Most of our DAT's are from cord bloods. Have you had any problems with cord blood? Is it worth the time to perform the DAT on the ECHO vs tube method? Considering that cords have Wharton's jelly does this preclude you from running it on the ECHO?
  3. Just like AMcCord, in our Oncology patients we generally see an increase of 20-30,000. Our heart patients with a preop normal count get phersis units during surgery, however, they receive so many other products in conjunction that it is hard to tell the rise after infusion.
