  1. Corporate challenge would be good. Say...Ford employees vs Chrysler. Who know, maybe one of them will donate a car as a grand prize. Yeah....easier said than done, but a good challenge for your public relations department?!
  2. Hello Cathy, I've heard of hospitals using a dilution of their anti-sera as part of their qc protocol. The rationale is to test the ability of the instrument to detect low levels of antibodies. I would think this discussion could be had with Immucor as the practice is not unknown in the UK. Having said that, this practice would pretty much come under the "above and beyond" clause. Tony
  3. Hmmmm.....Just wondering out loud. Would this character flaw apply to big brother Galileo as well as the technology is the same?
  4. I agree with your conclusion, as apart from the agrument of "whose blood is this, mother/baby, combination" I have seen in the past errors made when submitting cords on multiple births. The newborn sample (heel *****) I would think would be a better representative or reflection of the baby's blood group. If you wish, it would mitigate the risk of registering a wrong group for historical purpose.
