Hello! We use Isensix and have been mostly pleased with it. It is wireless, very user friendly and has excellent data backup function. We previously used the REES and decided to replace it with Isensix after a system crash where we lost quite a bit of data. That was an older version of REES though. I also liked the flexibility of Isensix versus REES. Since it is wireless you can move equipment around without much headache. My only complaint about Isensix is the slow response of customer service....but, I experienced that with REES as well. Hope that helps!

We use the Rosys, but manually perform weak D testing on all donors. In addition we perform ABO/Rh confirmation on all first time donors.

Hi All! I work at a Blood Donor Center. We routinely use Immucor reagents and have recently experienced some discrepant test results from donation to donation using the A1 Lectin. Has anyone else been having this issue? Also, we recently had two donations where the donor was determined to be Rh negative on the first donation and then was picked up as weak D on the second donation. Of course I was quick to assume tech error the first time, but after some investigation and some industry buzz I think others may be having the same experience. Any thoughts?
