Normally they are in the group but lately they have been popping up in the screening. How is everyone handling this? Are you working up each ? in your screen cells? Are you looking at them and reporting them out visually? Are you ignoring them? annie467 Posted August 8, 2010 Share Posted August 8, 2010 We confirm all antibody screens and panel cells visually. The Echo may miss or mark as ? obvious 1+ reactions. For ABORH, we will look for agglutination in the enlarged photo and verify with tube testing. If you are seeing a lot of ? reactions, you should call tech support - your machine may need adjustment.
