RR1 Posted February 15, 2009 Share Posted February 15, 2009 Has anybody noticed problems with the reproducibility of screen results using automated Gel or automated solid phase techniques ( solidscreen or capture ) I am especially interested in cases where the sample (from patient's that have known antibodies) test as screen negative, then when the SAME sample is re-tested- a positive/ different interpretation is given.I would also like to hear from users of the above techniques- as to the ease of identifying antibodies using the various methodologies and manufacturers identification panels.Many thanksRashmirashmirook@hotmail.com Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

It is a good idea to challenge all screening methods (automated and manual) to ensure reproducibility and consistancy of testing is obtained.
