Does anyone know of any publications comparing the two and where I could find them?I have been searching pubmed with no luck. I didn't find anything in the literature specifically comparing the instruments but did find a comparison of the methodologies in Immunohematology, volume 22, number 4, 2006 - In search of the Holy Grail: comparison of antibody screening methods. There is another, older article in Transfusion, Volume 41, May 2001 pg 621-626: Optimizing pretransfusion antibody detection and identification.......... Hope this helps.
