Yvonne Yogi
We started training since my boss went for training. After her first week of training she had us in a session and we came up with things we wanted to tackle - very important that the subject chosen is an important one for those on the team. Once chosen we started the training. We met daily for a week and was only going to initially meet an hour a day for 3 days but we all got into it and so we worked on what we could daily for 3 hours or more. Now we wait for the second session of the training. It's really neat and you can really see the causes and not just a gut feeling thing. Our group is called BAM - Battle Against Mediocrity! We already have more items to add to our job jar that we want to tackle using six sigma. Go for it!

Elaine Viggiano
The ASQ (American Society for Quality) is also an excellent source for 6 Sigma information. If you are not already a member, I strongly recommend it.Another thought: you cannot do this in a vacuum. It needs the undying, full support of the Executive Management of your organization. This is a real investment in Human Resources (paid time) to accomplish Six Sigma projects. Not for the faint of heart, and not without the full blessing of the powers-that-be.
