Polio in childhood

If so, somebody better let me know, because I am a polio survivor and have donated about 5 times every year since age 18.

I don't think that post-polio syndrome is a result of the latent virus being reactivated. Since the polio virus damaged the nerves that trigger the muscles to work, it takes more effort to make those muscles work. I think the syndrome is a result of our nerves and muscles wearing out from the 30 or 40 years of overexertion.
