    Does anyone know of any studies regarding PLATELETS and the effect (in vivo) of tubing them? Are the platelets affected in any way??? Are other facilities allowing platelets to be tubed ?--I see them listed on John's request form..

    Using the PEG method for warm autoadsorption is so much easier and faster than first treating the cells with WARM (ZZAP)--is there a true risk of missing an underlying alloantibody? Are others out there using the PEG adsorption method (for auto and/or alloadsorptions?)

    Depending on the training level of your staff, using a control routinely is an option so there is no chance to "forget" to go back and run one.

    Please tell us what type label you use for the syringe aliquot--so that it still fits in the pump and has all required info.

    Of those sites doing cultures, does everyone do both aerobic and anaerobic? Recently I had read article(s) that both are required but is this true?
