Just discovered this website today while researching some blood typing analyzers for a potential contract. I have no clinical background to speak of, but I've spent the last 7 years as an IT analyst supporting a hospital lab - all of it - clin path, micro, blood bank, anatomical path, point of care, billing, the works. I've supported Sunquest, CoPath, HCLL, and have both the Epic Beaker certs. I've done plenty of interfacing, middleware troubleshooting, and have Data Innovations training. I'm currently between jobs and debating between consulting work or going back into an FTE role, but in the meantime, perhaps I can be a resource to you all!
