I am currently working on a Six Sigma project regarding issued and subsequent returned components from a large OR department. I am finding it difficult to locate benchmarking information on this topic, and was wondering if anyone could provide information on the following items: Typical component orders by OR procedureAverage number of components issued to the OR each dayAverage number of components returned from the OR each day Any help or information would be greatly appreciated!

We do not purchase labels for our thawed plasma. We print them ourselves using a DigiTrax printer. I can email you a scanned picture of the label, if you like, but I have no ordering information I can provide for you. Hopefully someone else will be able to provide you with information. Brenda

Mary, We have our own DigiTrax label printer, so we produce the labels ourselves. We use codabar 18401 for the product...which will soon be changing with the upcoming ISBT implementation. Sorry I couldn't be more helpful! Brenda

We've been using this component interchangeably with FFP, thawed for quite some time. We turn FFP and PF24 into Thawed Plasma upon the first modification. This is a decision that pre-dates me, so I really don't have an answer as to why, but it works for us.
