Bonnie
What kind of pH meter does your facility use? Table top or hand held? We are thinking of purchasing one for our platelet pH testing. Any info would be much appreciated.
heathervaught
We use a Corning Pinnacle device. It is a small table-top device. We have had the same one for YEARS (well before I arrived at our facility 9 years ago). The probe needs to be changed occasionally, but other than that, we haven't had any issues. ar_confederate
We use a small handheld called the IQ 125. It's been very easy to use and reliable. We use them for our plt QC as well.
OPUS104
Has anyone received their CAP plt pheresis BAC detection results yet? The wording of the first paragraph in the Discussion section is priceless! The number of participants who missed the bacteria present was truly alarming.
