rescyth Posted April 7, 2009 Share Posted April 7, 2009 Does anyone here know of new BB bags for FFP/cryo that doesn't break easily? i got frew instances where just by taking the bag out from the freezer a piece chips off...imagine what happened when it slip off my hand...total epic fail ! RR1 Posted April 7, 2009 Share Posted April 7, 2009 We noticed this problem a few years ago, it turned out to be due to the freezer storage temperature being set colder than -45 'C.....I suppose the bags just become more fragile at lower temps. Colleen A Posted April 8, 2009 Share Posted April 8, 2009 Fenwal advertises that the PL2209 plastic is stronger and have "0 broken out of 24 dropped at 5 feet."
