I was in charge of the second shift. I did QA, Statistics in addition to bench work. I joined the Information Systems and Technology department last year, and currently I am the Blood Bank Database coordinator. We upgraded our LIS system from Cerner Classic to Cerner Pathnet Millennium last March. I'm the supervisor of the transfusion service at kaiser permanente medical center here in fontana, california. I have been with the company for 14 years. kaiser is *** hospital - in southern california - we have 11 hospitals and 4 donor centers. our medical center has 700 beds. I supervises the department, maintains quality assurance, audits blood administartion practices, validates computer system, teach new technologists, new process and procedures,attends seminars, meetings and others.
