Spent an idyllic 37 years working in a Transfusion department in a small District General Hospital on the outskirts of South West London, from humble and very ignorant junior beginnings to managing the department and pioneering the job of Transfusion Practitioner. Now retired - I ran out of the energy required to deal with the bureaucracy and stress and decided against premature death -but have retained a keen interest.
Location
Outskirts of London
Occupation
Pottering. Drinking coffee. Reading round all the bits of Transfusion I never had time to do when I was working.
