It is very slightly early to wish everyone who celebrates it a Happy Christmas and, equally, a little late to wish everyone who celebrates it a Happy Hanukkah, but, as a confirmed atheist, I would like to take this opportunity to wish everyone on PathLabTalk a very happy and, more to the point, peaceful time over the next few days.

Merry Christmas to everyone.  I would like to especially say Merry Christmas to all of you whole are working today saving lives and stamping out disease.  May your work load be light and your friends and family be understanding.  You are all in my thoughts today.

I know that not everyone celebrates the beginning of a New Year at this time of year, anymore than everyone celebrates Christmas, but I would still like to wish everyone a Happy, Prosperous and, above all, Peaceful time of year.
