Our Vision was installed last week and we will be going to training soon.  I was wondering (hoping) that someone might have a validation plan that they would be willing to share so that we don't have to totally reinvent the wheel.  We will be doing types/screens, cords, DATs , AHG crossmatches, and possibly antibody panels.  We will also (hopefully) be interfaced with Meditech Client Server 5.67.

Any guidance would be much appreciated!

We have purchased a Vision, and this would be really helpful information to us also. 

I've attached our validation plan that we used last year.  Some of it is Sunquest-specific, but hopefully you find it useful.  You will find more detail regarding Ortho's guidelines in their Validation Manual.  Our plant was to ensure we were doing approximately one week's worth of samples, but we ended up doing a lot more than that to work out some kinks we found during testing and to ensure that we had a good assortment of antibodies and scenarios.
