I was wondering if anyone is currently using 7 day platelets or are considering using them.  What issues have you encountered?  Are there ISBT product codes for 7 day platlets?

We are not going to use them because you have to test them if you use them after the 5th day.  Our blood supplier is very good about swapping out our platelets.
