blood storage outside of Blood bank

Does anybody know a specific AABB guideline pertaining to storage of blood outside of Blood Bank ( i.e Operating Rooom, Emergency Department ) ? I would also appreciate if you could share how you handle blood stored in these locations.

    If you are going to have remote BB refs, they will need to be alarmed and tested as per your normal protocols.  Same with daily temps . . .
