For those of you who may miss Malcolm as ASCLS in Rhode Island, you have another chance to meet him and hear him talk at the joint meeting of SCABB and CBBS. The meeting is in Las Vegas, June 2-5. Malcolm speaks at 12:15-1:15 on June 2. The preliminary program is attached.  I hope some of you will be able to catch him during his second US appearance.

Has anyone told Malcolm yet that What Happens in Las Vegas stays in Las Vegas?

Now THAT idea I like!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

OMG Malcolm, I see that this Las Vegas conf will be held at the Mirage- WOW!!! Awesome place that's for sure!!! Be sure to reserve yourself a ticket to a Cirque de Soleil show at the Bellagio while you are there.

And do not forget to watch colorful fountain at Bellagio!

:clap:Now I just might be able to make this one.  Only a short 8 hour drive / 1 hr flight away. 

Trouble about seeing anything on this trip is that I arrive on the Monday afternoon (14.05 on 01/06/15), lecture the next day, and then fly out again at 16.35 on 03/06/15, so I'm not going to have much time for sight seeing (and there is at least one lecture that I want to catch myself).

Well, I had a simply wonderful time, thanks to Candy Williams and her colleagues.  Thank you for inviting me Candy.

 

I met some great people, including Marilyn Moulds (whom I "married", as you will see if I can manage to upload the photograph), Dr. Lawrence Petz (who was gracious enough to sign my copy of his book, coauthored with the late, and much lamented George Garrattyy, Immune Hemolytic Anemias) and Lara Thetford (LaraT23), for whom I have a huge amount of respect for the wisdom of her posts.

 

To say I am jet lagged is the understatement of the year, but WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thank you for speaking Malcolm! It was a pleasure to see you and the entire SCABB conference was excellent!

Malcolm, sorry I missed you, again.  Even in my half of the country and I still couldn't swing it.  Glad you had a good time. 

Malcolm, I trust you didn't have to go clothes shopping at Walmart again......
