Our Pharmacy dept has all the derivatives (albumin, clotting factors, IVIG) except RhIg. I don't believe there are any regulations that require informed consent for these products. I think it's based on hospital preference. Does anyone have any info on this?

We have been battling consent compliance for blood products, so I think we are opening a huge can of worms by asking for it when we haven't fixed blood consent yet.

The consent for treatment covers derivatives issued by Pharmacy here. I don't think the current Pharmacy director is interested in pushing for specific consent for those products.

We do not require a specific consent for albumin or RhIg
