    As a student long ago I was taught that these were squishacytes, but I also immediately thought of Billy Gibbons from ZZ Top.

    Almost impossible to call based on 1 image.  Would need to see more to be sure.  Some suspects: Malarial parasite (low probablility), degenerated neutrophil (how old is the sample?).
