I wondered why it was so quiet on PLT today, and then the atrophied brain finally kicked into gear.

      This is the time of year when Blood Centers run low on blood!  Everyone is too busy shopping and going to parties I guess. We should all think about donating if we have the time over the next few week

      Yup, major glutton day for us Americans. After the turkey we fall asleep so there is no time to do PLT. Plus if we did, our family members would call as Geeks

    Can someone in the US explain Black Friday? You have thanksgiving and are grateful for what you have and then the next day people are out fighting for things they don't have. It's rather ironic...

    I don't try to explain that  craziness as I just ignore it. I call Christmas National Gift Giving Day since the spirit of that day seems to be about glutton also IMHO.  Boy, are we way off topic :lol:
